Hanoi (VNA) - The Australian Navy warship, HMAS WARRAMUNGA, arrived in Cam Ranh International Port, the central province of Khanh Hoa, on November 2, starting a six-day technical visit to the port.
During their visit, the ship’s Commander and crew will meet with senior officers of Naval Region 4 High Command of the Vietnam People’s Navy.
The crew will participate in a friendly sporting activity with Vietnamese soldiers explore local rich culture.
The visit aims at concretising the implementation of maritime security cooperation programmes in a memorandum of understanding on defence cooperation between Vietnam and Australia signed in 2010, thus contributing to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries’ navies.-VNA
Construction starts on Cam Ranh airport international terminal
Cam Ranh International Terminal JSC started construction on an international terminal at Cam Ranh International Airport in the central province of Khanh Hoa on September 8.
