Officials of the northern Bac Ninh province are scheduled to attend atraining course in Singapore early next year, in a bid to improve theirknowledge and experience in State administrative management.
The agreement was reached at a December 13 meeting between theprovincial authority and a delegation from Nanyang Centre for PublicAdministration, under Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
At the meeting, Chairman of Bac Ninh People’s CommitteeNguyen Nhan Chien said, as one of the provinces with fastest growth rateand most foreign direct investment in the country, Bac Ninh attachesmuch importance to training high quality personnel, in order to meet thedevelopment demand.
He asked the Singaporean partner to holdEnglish language training courses as well as post-graduate andrefresher courses in administrative and public administrative managementfor the province’s key officials.
The centre’s vice directorGuo Sam Nan said he hopes for long-term collaboration with Bac Ninhprovince, thus contributing to education and experience training betweenSingapore and Vietnam.-VNA
