Badminton star drops in global rankings

Top Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has dropped one step to 11th place in the latest world rankings, announced by the World Badminton Federation.

Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia tops the standings, followed by Lin Dan, Chen Long, and Chen Jin from China, and Indonesia's Simon Santoso.

Olympian Minh hopes he will gain more points to reach No. 10 in the world after competing at the Yonex-Sunrise Hong Kong Open in Shanghai from November 13-18.-VNA
