An exhibition titled “Martine, a friend from Europe” opened in Hanoi on December 12 on the occasion of the publication of the Vietnamese version of the comic series “Martine” (20 episodes).

The event was held by the Wallonie-Bruxelles delegation to Vietnam in collaboration with the Kim Dong Publishing House.

The classic series, created by the Belgian authors Gilbert Delahaye and Marcel Marlier in 1954, has been cherished by many generations of children worldwide, with more than 100 million copies printed in 15 countries.

The comic book tells Martine’s adventure and journey to explore the world and her experiences in life along with intimate friends including dog Patapouf and cat Moustache.

The exhibition will run at the Exhibition House at 93 Dinh Tien Hoang street until December 22.-VNA
