President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Huynh Dam on June 10 sent best wishes to the Hoa Hao Buddhist sect’s Central Executive Committee, dignitaries and followers on the occasion of the sect’s 72nd founding anniversary.
In his message, the VFF Central Committee leader commended the Hoa Hao Buddhist followers’ solidarity and active contributions to the national renewal and socio-economic development in each locality and the whole country.
He highlighted the sect’s guideline of “For Religion, For Nation” as directing its dignitaries and followers in boosting the national great unity, actively implementing the Party’s policies and the State’s laws and taking part in patriotic movements, including the “Entire people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas” and “Day for the Poor”, launched by the VFF Central Committee.
Dam expressed his belief that the sect’s Central Executive Committee, dignitaries and followers would continue to hold onto its guideline to make further contributions to the national construction and defence, while studying and following the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh./.
