Book collector on nationwide quest to restock library
Nguyen Quang Thach, founder of a library called Tu Sach Dong Ho (Clan
Bookshelf), will travel throughout the country during the Lunar New Year
holidays, from Feb. 14-24, to collect books for his project.

During the trip, he will visit several provinces and cities along National Highway 1A such as Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa and HCM City .
Thach expects the trip to help raise awareness of the advantages of his project, help establish more “clan bookshelves”, and raise funds that will be used to provide books to rural areas.
From the desire that rural people from all walks of life should always have books in order to stay informed and knowledgeable, Thach founded the first clan bookshelf in March 2007. To date Thach has set up 40 bookshelves for 40 clans throughout the country./.
