Ireland's most successful boy band Westlife is set to perform for Vietnamese fans in the capital on October 1.
Ireland's most successful boy band Westlife is set to perform for Vietnamese fans in the capital on October 1.

Theband will play favourites such as Seasons in the Sun, Flying WithoutWings, Uptown Girls and You Raise Me Up as well as new songs, notablySafe, I Will Reach You and No One's Gonna Sleep Tonight.

Theperformance is on Westlife Asian Tour to popularise their 11th albumGravity, which was released in November last year. Beside Vietnam, otherAsian destinations are Indonesia, Taiwan, Hongkong, Singapore and thePhilippines.

Westlife was formed in 1998 by members Mark Feehily,Shane Filan, Kian Egan and Brian McFadden. They soon became one of thetop European boy bands with their typical pop ballad music.

Priorto the band's formation, Brian McFadden performed in Viet Nam as partof the Hennessy Artistry 2009 programme, along with Australian singerLenka, English singer Paul Freeman and American band Boys Like Girls./.
