Hanoi (VNA) - Labour Heroine Thai Huong, Founder and Chairwoman of the TH Group Strategy Council who is known as a person with a strong desire for contribution, has implemented the fresh milk revolution in Vietnam and contributed to the strong development of high-tech agriculture.

She once shared that Mother Nature has given Vietnam with four seasons of green fruits, and the country is qualified to become a decent kitchen for the world, but first Vietnamese must make a decent kitchen for their people. Step by step, she has created that decent kitchen.

On July 20, 2023, the TH Group introduced nine TH true FOOD products in the Vietnamese Kitchen-Kind Homemaker”, including rice cakes, dumplings and kimchi with the criteria of freshness, convenience, natural ingredients and easy traceability.

These are the products of TH Clean Food Processing Factory of TH High-tech Food Processing Co., Ltd., belonging to the TH Group, located in VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park that has just come into operation.

Labour Heroine Thai Huong has shared with VietnamPlus about developing the safe products for Vietnamese consumers.

She said that the set of the Vietnamese kitchen products has been her dream since the day she began working on the dairy project. Starting the path of fresh milk, she wanted to standardise the kitchen and meet the demand for "fast, convenient, safe" food. She was wondering what to do? She saw that some countries are ahead of Vietnam when it comes to food safety. When she went to Japan, the Republic of Korea and European countries, she went to supermarkets or to kitchens to learn how they operate their kitchens.

Everything came as a fate. A Korean enterprise came to Vietnam to build a factory in Bac Ninh province. Unfortunately just after the factory’s inauguration, the COVID-19 pandemic broke out. Due to difficulties caused by the pandemic, he reached out to the TH Group. He said that he had read the history of the TH Group and found that the leader of the TH Group has similar ideas to his.

She revealed that she has always dreamed of building a factory, however it will require a lot of resources such as culinary experts, "cooking artists," with many dishes and technology system and manufacturing machinery.

According to Huong, the factory has a construction area of more than 41,000 sq.m. All workshops, equipment and production technologies are designed in accordance with standards and conditions to ensure food safety; 12 modern, synchronous, large-capacity high-end food production lines are provided by leading companies in Europe, Japan and the Republic of Korea.

With the world's leading automatic and advanced production systems and technologies such as IQF super speed freezing system, vacuum mixing equipment, and smoke equipment using imported wood, among others.

The factory is capable of handling all stages from preliminary processing, processing, packaging, preservation and circulation with a variety of high quality products and international quality management processes; FSSC 22000 certification - a comprehensive food safety standard, ensuring food safety at all levels. The factory also applies FSSC 22000 standard based on ISO 22000 platform combined with good practice programmes, additional standards such as GMP and HACCP.

In particular, the factory's IQF super-speed freezing system is rated as the leading modern one in the industry. This system uses conveyors that move at a slow speed. At this stage, the product is directly exposed to cold air at a gradually lower temperature, from -35 to -40 degrees Celsius. This technology helps preserve the fresh taste of the product while helping to ensure the freshness and nutrition of the product, lengthening storage time of food without preservatives. The company's R&D department will develop more than 100 more products and the raw materials will be specialty agricultural products and herbs of Vietnam.

Labour Heroine Thai Huong told that she is actually doing what she really loves that is introducing delicious and safe, pre-cooked meals to families, workers, and office employees.

It is said that after Japan ended the war in 1946, just one year later, the country enacted the Nutrition Law and 70 years on Japanese people's height has been improved significantly. When Japan reviewed its successes, it was found that in addition to the government's policy and direction, there was an important factor in the country’s determination in improving its people's height, which was food makers.

She modestly said that the TH Group itself is like small, bright and clean grains of sand, contributing in the sea of sand to let Vietnamese people enjoy clean food products. TH, with its awareness, seriousness and steadfastness, is walking on the path of "For the stature of Vietnam", so that Vietnamese children can be confident with the stature of Vietnam, no less than other countries on other continents.

Regarding health area, Thai Huong said she can’t “never teach fish to swim”, however, being a mother, she understands why there are so many diseases, why the rate of cancer diseases is sadly high, why Vietnamese children are still stunted. In addition to genetic issues, there are still factors such as the environment, nutrition, and eating. Therefore, she wants to make clean dairy products, clean water, rice and salt must also be clean.

Thai Huong revealed that she is about to launch a clean fish sauce and salt factory in Phu Yen province. She wants many businesses in the food industry to work together to make quality products for consumers so that Vietnamese children can have a height and stature comparable to the world and sustainable health.

She thought it is a gift from the hearts of food workers, voluntarily fulfilling their responsibilities to the community, social responsibility and contributing to the country, in the direction of the Party and the State, for the health of the people and TH will contribute a small part of that.

The TH Group introduced three TH true FOOD products in the Vietnamese Kitchen - Kind Homemaker on July 20, including rice cakes, dumplings and kimchi. In August, TH continued to launch bacon products, including two types of bacon legs, bacon and smoked sausage products.

It is expected that in the coming time, the TH Group will develop and launch many high-end processed food products with the brand of TH true FOOD to meet a variety of nutritional needs and enrich products for Vietnamese kitchens such as meat processed products: sausages, spring rolls, patties, meatballs; Group of products processed from starch: vermicelli, and noodle, among others. In particular, TH will also focus on developing nutritious meal product lines for major partners.
