Cambodian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Im Heng (Source: VNA) HCM City (VNA) – The Vietnam Union of FriendshipOrganisations and the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association in Ho Chi MinhCity held a ceremony on November 8 to mark Cambodia’s 64th Independence Day(November 9).
Speaking at the event, President of the association TruongMinh Nhut affirmed that Vietnam and Cambodia hold good neighbourliness,time-honoured friendship and comprehensive cooperation.
The two countries have strived to consolidate and developthe friendship and cooperation and coordinated closely at international forumsin order to lift the bilateral relations to a new height, for the interests ofthe two peoples and for peace, stability, development cooperation in the region,Nhut added.

The sacrifice of the two nations has created traditionalfriendship and solidarity which have become a valuable treasure and nurtured bythe two countries’ leaders and people.
