Phnom Penh (VNA) - The Cambodian government has approved a draft budget of more than 9.3 billion USD for the spending in 2025, with economic growth projected at 6.3%.
This growth is anticipated through gains in key sectors, including industry (8.6%), services (5.6%), and agriculture (1.1%), with inflation projected at 2.5%.
Cambodia’s GDP is expected to reach about 51.39 billion USD, and its GDP per capita 2,429 USD.
The 2025 budget aims to support institutional development, infrastructure, human resources improvement, and economic diversification. It also focuses on enhancing public services in education, health care, and justice, among others.
The Cambodian economy is forecast to continue its recovery this year, with a growth rate of 6.6%, raising its per capita income to 2,071 USD./.
