Hanoi (VNA) – Cambodia and the China-ASEAN Information Harbor Co., Ltd. (CAIH) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost technological innovation, digital infrastructure, and digital economy.
The deal was inked on October 23 between Cambodia's Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) and the CAIH, aiming to leverage advanced digital infrastructure and cutting-edge technologies to promote economic development and improve quality of life across the region, reported Xinhua News Agency.
According to a news release on the event, leveraging CAIH's skills in the digital economy, intelligent interconnection, and data interoperability, the MoU highlights key areas of collaboration, including advanced digital infrastructure, digital economy, and knowledge sharing.
"Both parties will focus on sectors such as healthcare and tourism, utilising digital technologies to spur economic growth and elevate living standards," the release said as cited by Xinhua./.
Thailand, Cambodia discuss measures to promote tourism cooperation
Advisers of Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dusit Menapunt and Chayika Wongnapajan on October 21 met with Cambodian Minister of Tourism Huot Hak to discuss measures to facilitate tourism, including border crossing and seamless travel.
