A photography and book exhibition featuring Vietnam’s ethnic groups opened in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on August 17 to celebrate the occasions of the 73rd August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

Can Tho (VNA) – A photography and book exhibitionfeaturing Vietnam’s ethnic groups opened in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho onAugust 17 to celebrate the occasions of the 73rd August Revolution (August 19)and National Day (September 2).

Pham Van Luan, deputy director of the municipal Departmentof Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said that the exhibition gathered valuabledocuments from the Can Tho Library and other libraries nationwide.

The exhibit highlights the varied cultures of each ethnicgroup, helping to promote and preserve their cultural values during thenation’s current development and integration process.

The exhibition is comprised of 54 photos on Vietnam’s 54ethnic groups; as well as 800 documents that relate to the Party and State’spolicies and laws on ethnic affairs and studies of their histories and cultures.

The event will remain open to visitors until September 5.The exhibit will then be introduced to locals through mobile libraries andcommunal libraries. –VNA

Vietnam's 35-strong squad announced for ASEAN U23 Championship 2025

The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.

Exhibition features President Ho Chi Minh as founder of Vietnam’s revolutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.

Vinh Phuc to host international women's volleyball tournament

Vietnam to host U17, U23 Asian Wrestling Championships for first time

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
