The Central Paediatrics Hospital on April 22 announced the Health Ministry’s decision to establish the children’s health institute in Hanoi.
The children’s health institute, under the central paediatrics hospital, is designed to meet three urgent needs regarding paediatric care: scientific research, personnel training and international cooperation.
Apart from child-related specialities, the institute will also focus on training paediatric tumour specialists and nurses.
Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of the Central Paediatrics Hospital, has also been appointed to be the institute’s head./.
