Chervo Open championship to be played on three courses

The Chervo Vietnam Open Championship 2016 will be played on three golf courses and will include three rounds, the event’s organising board announced recently.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Chervo Vietnam Open Championship 2016 will be played on three golf courses and will include three rounds, the event’s organising board announced recently.

The qualifying round in the northern region will be held on April 3 at Sky Lake golf course in Hanoi, the southern qualifying round is on April 15 at Twin Doves golf course in the southern province of Bình Dương. The final round will take place on May 8 at Long Biên golf course in the capital city.

Golfers in the qualifying round will compete under the System 36 format and will be divided into three groups: A, B and ladies.

The best 24 golfers in the qualifying round will compete for the final round.-VNA
