Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi Art Fair, a vibrant celebration of creativity featuring renowned studios and artists, will take place at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Hanoi from March 26 to 31.

The event aims to connect the creative community with art enthusiasts, offering a platform to support artists and celebrate cultural expression in the capital.

According to the organisers, the Hanoi Art Fair will present a dynamic artistic space where art is not just displayed but also serves as a bridge between artists and the public.

Co-organised by 12 artists and art studios in collaboration with the Centre for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, the fair seeks to inspire creativity and make the arts more accessible to the public.

Among the event’s notable participants is Minh Dam, a Polish watercolour artist of Vietnamese origin and co-founder of the Polish Watercolor Association. Having taught and exhibited across dozens of countries, Minh Dam has made a significant mark on the international art scene.

Other notable artists include architect and artist Bui Thanh Viet Hung, a lecturer at the Hanoi University of Architecture and Chairman of the Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club (HWA); Do Hien, known for her serene watercolour paintings that capture the natural beauty of Vietnam; and Luc Thum (whose real name is Vo Minh Lam Tung), a watercolorist specialising in landscapes and ethnic communities of Vietnam’s mountainous regions, particularly in the Northwest, Northeast, and Central Highlands.

The fair will also showcase works from the HWA Young Artists Group, along with Nhau Studio, Toi Ve, and Cham Studios, adding to the diversity of artistic perspectives on display.

A major highlight of the event is the "Diverse Colours" exhibition, featuring over 300 artworks in a variety of mediums, including oil painting, watercolor, silk, acrylic, graphic art, and ink. Each piece tells a unique story, reflecting the artist’s visions and emotions.

An art space will be arranged at the relic site, featuring 12 interactive booths designed like "open houses" where visitors can explore the world of arts and creativity alongside artists.

Attendees will have the chance to admire high-quality artworks, meet and interact with artists, listening to the inspirations and stories behind their creations.

They can also participate in hands-on art workshops, including painting on lotus leaf tea packaging and red ink sketching on gold-gilded paper./.
