China’s National Day marked in HCM City

The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organisations hosted a get-together on Sept. 28 to mark China ’s 62 nd National Day (Oct. 1).

Speaking at the event, Duong Quan Ha, President of the Vietnam-ChinaFriendship Association, said Vietnam and China are neighbouringcountries whose time-honoured friendly and cooperative relations havegrown in accordance with the common interests of the Parties,Governments and people of the two nations.

Ha,who is also President of the HCM City Chapter of the Vietnam FatherlandFront, congratulated the Chinese people on the great achievements theyhave reaped during the national construction process.

The Chinese Consul General in HCM City, Xu Mingliang, vowed to makeactive contributions to fostering the comprehensive strategiccooperative partnership between China and Vietnam as well as cooperationbetween Chinese localities and HCM City and Vietnam’s southernprovinces in general./.

Search efforts continue for Vietnamese fallen soldiers in Cambodia

During the 2026-2027 dry season, Teams K70, K71, K72 and K73 will continue their search and repatriation mission, striving to fulfil the target based on 185 pieces of information concerning 761 graves. Each team is expected to collect at least 100 sets of remains during each deployment.
