Chinese ethnic affairs official visits Yen Bai
A delegation of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of China led by Vice Minister–Deputy head Li Zhao had a working session with officials from the Steering Committee for the Northwestern Region.

The visit affords a chance for both sides to learn from each other’s experience in socio-economic development for ethnic minorities, she said.
Li acknowledged that the Vietnamese and Chinese Party and State have issued policies conducive to ethnic minority groups, including those regarding infrastructure and personnel training, as well as maintaining solidarity and equality among nations.
He hoped that both countries would share experience in carrying out ethnic policies and increase cooperation in diverse areas.
The same day, the Chinese delegation held a working session with the provincial People’s Committee and visited a business model in Van Lang commune, Yen Binh district.-VNA
