They reveled in theperformance of delicate melodies of world classical works and symphonicmasterpieces from Eastern European music to Piazzolla performed by theCzech Philharmonic Teplice and talented Vietnamese violinist Nguyen HuuNguyen.
This is the 16 th of the annual ToyotaClassics in Vietnam , which is the first destination of its Asia –Pacific tour from November 5 - 16.
After Hanoi ,the concert will be held in Phnom Penh ( Cambodia ), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia ), and Bandar Seri Begawan ( Brunei ).
This year’s event was held by Toyota Motor Asia-Pacific and Toyota MotorVietnam (TMV) in co-operation with the Vietnam Performing Arts Centreand the Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture,Sport and Tourism.
The proceeds from theconcert will go to the “Toyota Scholarship for Vietnamese Young MusicTalent” programme, which aims to assist excellent students studying infive music training schools under the Ministry of Culture, Sports andTourism.
Toyota Classics has been organised annually from themid-1990s with many tours to countries in the Asian Pacific region. Bynow, a total of 171 concerts have been held, attracting almost 214,000audiences.-VNA
