Hanoi (VNA) – Top leaders ofVietnam on September 12 offered condolences to Indonesian leaders on thepassing of former Indonesian President Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie.

General Secretary of the Communist Party ofVietnam Central Committee and President Nguyen Phu Trong, and Prime MinisterNguyen Xuan Phuc sent messages of condolences to Indonesian President JokoWidodo.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister ofForeign Affairs Pham Binh Minh extended condolences to Indonesian Minister forForeign Affairs Retno Marsudi.

On the day, representatives of Vietnam’sMinistry of Foreign Affairs paid their tribute to the deceased at the Embassyof Indonesia in Hanoi.

Former Indonesian President BacharuddinJusuf Habibie passed away on September 11 at the age of 83./.
