A conference on hydrographic regime and water resource management in the context of climate change opened in Hanoi on November 8.
The two-day event has drawn the participation of over 200 delegates from Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Australia, Cambodia, France, India, Indonesia, Iran, Laos, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Sweden, Switzerland and Vietnam.
The participants at the conference shared their ideas, experiences and researches in the impacts of climate change and the application of hydrographic models in water management.
The conference is jointly held by the UNESCO International Hydrographic Programme (IHP), the Asia-Pacific Association of Hydrology and Water Resources and the Vietnamese Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment./.
