One hundred organisations and individuals who made great contributions to the development of Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups received awards at a ceremony held in Hanoi on August 14.
Of the total, 93 are organisations, enterprises and armed force units, including such big names as PetroVietnam, Red River Corporation, Rural Development and Agriculture Bank and the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), the Ha Giang Pharmacy Company, the Lao Cai Apatite company and the Company No. 789 of the Defence Ministry.
The “For the development of Vietnam’s ethnic minority community” Cup, the award of the Government’s Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs, is to reaffirm the Party and State’s determination to prioritise ethnic minority’s development.
