A cooking competition for Vietnamese living in Singapore, was held in Claire Loves-Lifestyle Concept Store in Boat Quay, Singapore, last weekend, according to radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
The Fookup, the first of its kind and was organised by the Association of Vietnamese Professionals in Singapore (Vietnam 2020), aims to create an opportunity for the Vietnamese community in the country to get closer and learn more about Vietnamese dishes.
Aside from culinary techniques, entertainment and creativity were the decisive factors for winners. In the final round, Comegg team beat four outstanding others to win the trophy.
Nguyen Thi Lan Ngoc, a member of Vietnam 2020, said this is the first time the association has organised a cooking competition which has received such warm involvement and support from the Vietnamese community in Singapore.
The association expressed hope that the event will become annual, helping competitors ease their stress and learn more about Vietnamese traditional dishes.-VNA
