A cooking competition for Vietnamese living in Singapore, was held in Claire Loves-Lifestyle Concept Store in Boat Quay, Singapore, last weekend, according to radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

TheFookup, the first of its kind and was organised by the Association ofVietnamese Professionals in Singapore (Vietnam 2020), aims to create anopportunity for the Vietnamese community in the country to get closerand learn more about Vietnamese dishes.

Aside from culinarytechniques, entertainment and creativity were the decisive factors forwinners. In the final round, Comegg team beat four outstanding others towin the trophy.

Nguyen Thi Lan Ngoc, a member of Vietnam2020, said this is the first time the association has organised acooking competition which has received such warm involvement and supportfrom the Vietnamese community in Singapore.

The associationexpressed hope that the event will become annual, helping competitorsease their stress and learn more about Vietnamese traditional dishes.-VNA
