Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded 13,972 cases of COVID-19 in 61 localities during 24 hours from 4pm November 29 to 4pm November 30, including 6 imported cases, according to the Ministry of Health.
Ho Chi Minh City continued to record the highest number of infections with 1,497, followed by Can Tho with 981 and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province with 860.
The national tally reached 1,238,082.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 5,788 patients nationwide are in serious conditions, with 602 requiring invasive ventilation and 15 on life support (ECMO).
On the day, the country saw 197 deaths from the disease. The death toll now hits 25,252.
A further 14,624 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number of recoveries to 989,348.
By November 29, the country had injected over 122.08 million doses of vaccines to date, with more than 50.94 million people now fully inoculated./.
