Mai expressed the CPV’s and Vietnamese State’s support for the process of updating the socio-economic development model in Cuba.
She informed the guest on the major outcomes of the seventh conference of the CPV Central Committee and spoke highly of the long-running friendship and solidarity between Vietnamese and Cuban trade unions.
The host affirmed that Vietnam will always stay side by side with Cuban people to lift bilateral ties for time to come.
Nacimiento, for his part, briefed the host on the process of amending the Constitution and updating Cuba’s socio-economic model.
He wished to foster political ties and economic-trade cooperation between the two nations in the near future. -VNA
