The 25th Cycling Championship Television Cup, will commence on April 13 with the participation of 80 cyclists from 11 clubs nationwide.
The championship aims to promote public awareness of the country’s sea and islands sovereignty. The 16-stage tour of over 2,000 kilometres will follow the coastline, the organising board said at a press briefing in Ho Chi Minh City on April 4.
The tour will start at Hanoi and end at Thong Nhat Palace on April 30 when the country will celebrate the 38th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.-VNA
