The central city of Da Nang is adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic safely and flexibly with numerous measures taken to attract more tourists.

Da Nang (VNA) – The central city of Da Nang is adapting to theCOVID-19 pandemic safely and flexibly with numerous measures taken to attractmore tourists.

The municipal Department of Tourism said that it has guidedtourism businesses and tourism service providers in the city to actively andflexibly carry out programmes to welcome and serve visitors during theChristmas and New Year 2022 holidays, while focusing on ensuring pandemic preventionand control regulations and improving the quality of services.

The city plans to organise several activities for residentsand visitors to welcome New Year 2022 and the 25th anniversary of DaNang becoming a centrally-run city.

From Christmas to New Year holidays, Da Nang expects toserve a total of 284 domestic flights. On January 1, 2022, 27 flights areexpected to land in the central city.

It plans to coordinate with national flag carrierVietnam Airlines to welcome passengers on board the first flight to the city onthis day.

To date, around 300 accommodation establishments, over 50travel agents, and nine out of 16 tourism sites have resumed operations,offering special promotions to draw more visitors./.
