"We expect to see more Italian enterprises invest in the city in comingyears. Our six industrial zones and a hi-tech park have alreadywelcomed 210 projects worth 3 billion USD," Chien said.

But the city has seen only three investment projects from Italy with atotal capital of 1 million USD, so he urged Italian businesses toconsider business opportunities in the hi-tech park and tourism sector.-VNA

EC postpones Vietnam’s seafood inspection until year end

The ministry received the notification from the EC’s Directorate – General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG-MARE) in early May, which requested Vietnam to submit a progress report on implementing the EC’s recommended improvements before September 15. Vietnamese gov’t approves two-year trial of P2P lending
