Da Nang to call for tourism investment

Da Nang has been soliciting the investments of Italian businessmen,Chairman of the city's People's Committee Van Huu Chien said in ameeting on May 14 with Italian ambassador to Vietnam Lorenzo Angeloni.

"We expect to see more Italian enterprises invest in the city in comingyears. Our six industrial zones and a hi-tech park have alreadywelcomed 210 projects worth 3 billion USD," Chien said.

But the city has seen only three investment projects from Italy with atotal capital of 1 million USD, so he urged Italian businesses toconsider business opportunities in the hi-tech park and tourism sector.-VNA
