Dak Nong helps Cambodian province with food, medical supplies

The Border Guard Command of the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong on January 7 presented food and medical supplies to armed forces of Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province to serve the COVID-19 combat.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Border Guard Command of the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong on January 7 presented food and medical supplies to armed forces of Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province to serve the COVID-19 combat.
 
The donations, worth 170 million VND (7,490 USD), are expected to help the Cambodian armed forces better perform their tasks of border management and pandemic fight, said Colonel Nguyen Van Lu, head of the Border Guard Command.

A representative from the Cambodian armed forces expressed his belief that the two countries’ border guards will continue their coordination in border management and pandemic prevention and control.

On this occasion, the two sides exchanged information about territorial sovereignty, activities of hostile forces and crime at border areas./.
