The death toll of typhoon Conson that ripped across the Philippines ’ main island on July 14 has climbed to 22 while 57 people were reported missing and 20 others were injured.
The death toll of typhoon Conson that ripped across the Philippines ’ main island on July 14 has climbed to 22 while 57 people were reported missing and 20 others were injured.

The typhoon, packing maximum wind gusts of 120 kilometres an hour, uprooted trees, damaged traffic infrastructures and caused large track of blackout.

Millions of people will have to live with the power outage in at least two days, said a spokesperson of the Philippine Electric Corporation.

According to the Philippine Metrological Service, the typhoon will get stronger and head west into the South China in the next 24-48 hours./.
