Hanoi (VNA) – Minister of National Defence General Ngo Xuan Lich hosted a reception for newly-accredited US Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink in Hanoi on December 11.
Both the minister and the ambassador highly valued the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the US, especially their effective defence ties.
They expressed their wish to continue working together in order to implement cooperation contents on the basis of the memorandum of understanding on defence cooperation signed in 2011 and the 2015 Joint Vision Statement on Defence Relations. -VNA
