Buenos Aires (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Dang XuanDung highlighted potential to boost cooperation between the two countries at ameeting held in Buenos Aires on November 5 to promote bilateral collaboration ineconomy, trade, investment and tourism.

The diplomat said as comprehensive partners of each other, the two countries’governments continue boosting cooperation in all areas, especially in economy,trade and investment.

Last year, bilateral trade reached nearly 3 billion USD. Vietnam remained thesecond largest exporter of Argentina in Asia, while Argentina was Vietnam’ssecond trade partner in Latin America.

He hoped the two sides continue working closely to bring their businessescloser, contributing to developing economic, trade and investment cooperationbetween the two countries.

At the event, representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentine andArgentinian guests presented economic models and investment environment as wellas business features and tourist attractions in Vietnam.

The event, held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina, drew more than 300 participantsfrom local agencies, businesses and diplomatic corps./.
