Buenos Aires (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Dang Xuan Dung highlighted potential to boost cooperation between the two countries at a meeting held in Buenos Aires on November 5 to promote bilateral collaboration in economy, trade, investment and tourism.
The diplomat said as comprehensive partners of each other, the two countries’ governments continue boosting cooperation in all areas, especially in economy, trade and investment.
Last year, bilateral trade reached nearly 3 billion USD. Vietnam remained the second largest exporter of Argentina in Asia, while Argentina was Vietnam’s second trade partner in Latin America.
He hoped the two sides continue working closely to bring their businesses closer, contributing to developing economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
At the event, representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentine and Argentinian guests presented economic models and investment environment as well as business features and tourist attractions in Vietnam.
The event, held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina, drew more than 300 participants from local agencies, businesses and diplomatic corps./.
