Discussions on crisis settlement in economic diplomacy in Middle East-Africa

Hanoi (VNA) – A seminar on the role of crisis settlement in economic diplomacy in the Middle East-Africa took place in Hanoi on December 24.
The event was part of economic diplomatic activities held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to help firms seek cooperation opportunities and deal with arising
problems.
Speaking at the event, MOFA Deputy Minister Pham
Quang Hieu affirmed that the event is also meant to realise directions by Prime
Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 31st Diplomatic
Conference more effectively.
Several opinions at the event offered measures to deal with
crises and mitigate their impacts on Vietnamese firms doing business in the
region.
They also highlighted the role of forecasting work in preventing and
addressing crises to protect Vietnamese citizens and enterprises, as well as
inter-sectoral coordination and post-crisis measures to help them settle down soon./.
