Nghe An (VNA) – A man was caught for transporting a huge amount of synthetic drug pills and heroin into Vietnam for consumption, said the Border Guard Command of the central province of Nghe An.
On May 2, Kha Van Choi, born in 1975 and residing in Ta Ca commune of the province’s Ky Son district, was caught red-handed by the border guard force at the Nam Can international border gate together with police of the district.
A total of 198 meth pills and five grams of heroin were seized.
The case is being further investigated.
Three drug cases were earlier discovered in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong and the northern province of Nam Dinh, with 1.4kg of heroin and 4,000 synthetic drug pills seized./.
