The General Union of Vietnamese in France (UGVF) opened a photo exhibition entitled “Ho Chi Minh in France – a 100-year journey” in the French capital city of Paris.

On display were almost 200 photos and documents depicting President Ho Chi Minh’s arduous revolutionary life in France during his journey for national salvation, provided by the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Vietnam Cultural Centre in France and the UGVF.

Addressing the event, the Vietnamese Ambassador to France, Duong Chi Dung highlighted the significance of this event, saying it is part of activities to mark 100 years since President Ho Chi Minh first arrived in France and 65 years since he visited the European country as a state leader.

Dung also spoke highly of UGVF’s efforts and dynamism in hosting meaningful activities to the community and the country.

The diplomat also stressed that Vietnam will continue fostering the increasingly developing Vietnam-France relations into a strategic partnership in the 21 st century in line with President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts./.
