Over 300 artifacts from Central Highland ethnic groups belonging to collector Nguyen Van Hai are on display at a museum in Can Tho city from October 14-17.
The exhibition features the unique cultural characteristics of ethnic groups from the Central Highlands as it spotlights hunting tools, living utensils, musical instruments and traditional costumes. There is also a number of photographs portraying the lives of the different ethnic groups.
Hai, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Artifact Collectors’ Association, said that the event honours the Central Highland’s cultural heritages and calls upon the public to join in efforts to protect the region’s heritages which are at risk of being lost forever./.
