Officials of the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang on December 26shared experiences in building new rural areas and military reserve witha visiting delegation of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
Hosts presented their effective measures in building new rural areassuch as focusing on building infrastructure like roads and irrigationfacilities and guiding residents in the cultivation of high-valueproducts.
After three years, three out of the 11 pilot communeshave fulfilled all the 19 national criteria for new rural areas and therest, 15 or 16 criteria.
The provincial Military High Commandalso shared experience in building reserve such as working out concreteplans basing on tasks assigned to its units each year and paying dueattention to training.-VNA
