The Friends of Hue Foundation in America (FHF) and Centre for the Encouragement of Self-Reliance (CERS) have put community house and flood-resistance kindergartens into use in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue’s, Huong Thuy district on April 5.
Built at the cost of 864 million VND, the project includes two classrooms capable of receiving about 50 preschool children and one flood-resistance house which is also served as a meeting place for cultural and arts exchange, technological transfer training, cultivation and community-based healthcare activities for the locals.
At present, FHF is sponsoring the Xuan Phu centre for support of children project to help disadvantaged children in the locality./.
