First PALME to take place in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City will host the international PALME exhibition from July 22-27, making it the first of its kind to be held in the country.

PALME is the largest annual event of the entertainment technologyindustry in Southeast Asia as it dedicates to professional sound,light, music, audio visual and systems integration.

Rosalind Ng,Executive Director of the Asian IIR Exhibitions Company, commented thatthe participation of over 200 companies from 20 countries andterritories in the first-ever PALME in Vietnam proved that theSoutheast Asian country is a “fertile land” for foreign businesses.

Shesaid she hoped this PALME will offer chances for Vietnamese businessesto access advanced technologies and equipment in the entertainmentindustry.

PALME has been held in the Philippines , Thailand ,Malaysia and Singapore./.

Excavation for war remains begins in Quang Ngai

Y Ngoc, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the provincial Steering Committee for the search, recovery and identification of martyrs’ remains, said the mission aims to conduct definitive excavation and verification to bring home the remains of martyrs from Regiment 24A, the B3 Front, Special Forces Battalion 406, and Infantry Battalion 304, who fell during the 1968 Tet Offensive.
