First Vietnam-RoK contemporary art exhibition opens

Vietnamese and RoK contemporary painters and sculptors are converging in their first ever exhibition to deliver their unique styles exploring the diversity of lively life in their respective countries

HCM City (VNA) – Vietnamese and RoK contemporary painters and sculptors are converging in their first ever exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City to deliver their unique styles exploring the diversity of lively life in their respective countries.

People and their activities, and landscape beauty are mostly featured in 51 paintings, graphic art and sculptural works, 26 of them were from the RoK artists.

The exhibition was jointly held by the Fine Arts Association of Ho Chi Minh City and the Busan contemporary art association.

According to Chairman of the HCM City Fine Arts Association Uyen Huy, the exhibition is billed as a bridge to connect art lovers and also helps strengthen the friendship between the two countries.

The event, opened in Ho Chi Minh City on July 21, will run until July 30.-VNA

Vinh Phuc to host international women's volleyball tournament

Vietnam to host U17, U23 Asian Wrestling Championships for first time

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
