First world coffee museum to open in Vietnam

A museum featuring typical objects of the world coffee museum will officially open in Ho Chi Minh City in March, 2011 by Trung Nguyen Joint Stock Company on the occasion of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.
A museum featuring typical objects of the world coffee museum will officially open in Ho Chi Minh City in March, 2011 by Trung Nguyen Joint Stock Company on the occasion of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.

Through a collection of coffee-related exhibits, including over 10,000 objects donated by Germany ’s Jenn Burg museum, the museum will introduce the history of coffee drinking, coffee geography, coffee culture as well as technological advances of the industry across the globe.

A collection of art items on the Central Highlands culture of Vietnam will be also displayed at the museum.

About 100 objects selected among the museum’s treasure are on display at an exhibition that opened in Trung Nguyen Creative Youth House in HCM City on Dec. 4.

The exhibition will go on till January 4./.
