Five milestones in Vietnam's sport in Olympics Games

After six decades of competing in the Olympics, Vietnam boasts its first ever gold medal thanks to shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh who won the men's 10m air pistol at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Taekwondo athlete Tran Hieu Ngan became the first Vietnamese Olympic medalist after bagging the silver medal in the women's 57 weight class event in the Olympic Sydney on September 29, 2000. (Source: VNA)
