A folk games festival is taking place in Hanoi. The event is expected to spread the unique cultural values of Vietnamese folk games.
The folk games festival runs from August 25 to September 15. As part of the event, contests of traditional games, including bag jumping, Mandarin Square Capturing, walking on stilts and pitching pennies, will be organised.
Along with spreading the unique cultural values of Vietnamese folk games, the event aims to engage communities and different generations in a family, as well as develop life skills for younger generations.-VNA
