Foreign tourists to Vietnam surge 3.8-fold in 11 months of 2023
Foreign tourists to Vietnam exceeded 11.2 million in the first 11 months of 2023, 3.8-fold higher than the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office.
Vietnam served over 1.2 million international tourists in November, up 11% month-on-month, the record monthly number in 2023, according to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism.
Plum blossoms typically signal the arrival of spring on Moc Chau Plateau, with the region being blanketed in white plum flowers from late January to mid-February. This year, however, many of the plum trees in Moc Chau have begun to bloom a few months early.
Vietnam welcomed more than 1.23 million international tourists in November, an 11% increase month-on-month and a record monthly figure in 2023. The country therefore welcomed 11.2 million foreign arrivals in the first 11 months of the year.
