The history of the development of cooperation between the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Lao News Agency, or Khaosan Pathet Lao (KPL), is associated with the friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the VNA (September 15, 1945 - September 15, 2020), Former KPL Director General Sounthone Khanthavong sent congratulations to VNA officers, reporters, editors, and technicians both past and present, who worked with their KPL colleagues during the struggle for national liberation or are now working on the ongoing cause of nation building and safeguarding.
