As part of cultural exchange week among French-speaking nations, the event was organised by the Mozambican Ministry of Education and Human Development and embassies of the OIF’s member nations in the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Nguyen Van Trung highlighted the Francophone community’s efforts to protect language and cultural diversity and its contributions to addressing global challenges like diseases, natural disasters and environmental pollution.
Jone Luis, Minister of Education and Human Development, praised effective and dynamic operations of and cooperation among embassies to enhance cultural promotion of the OIF’s member nations.
The Vietnamese Embassy has arranged a photo exhibition to introduce the culture, country and people of Vietnam as part of cultural activities to mark 40 years of the Vietnam-Mozambique diplomatic ties.
Initiated in 1970, the OIF includes 57 member countries and 23 observers.-VNA
