The Free Book Reading Festival 2013 opened in Hanoi on April 4, featuring over 15,000 book titles covering a wide variety of fields.
The event, jointly held by the Thai Ha Book Company and the Indochina Plaza Trade Centre, aims to encourage reading habit and create an opportunity for authors to present their works to readers.
Visitors to the festival can participate in educational games, seminars and cultural exchanges and buy books at discounted prices.
In addition, a book donation is held to collect books from readers to a project that aims to establish libraries in rural areas.
The books in economics, science, health, life and children’s literature are on display at Indochina Plaza Trade Centre, 241 Xuan Thuy street, Cau Giay district until the end of this week.-VNA
