More than 170 former Vietnamese students studying in the Republic of Korea (RoK) gathered in Hanoi on Feb. 27 for an annual meeting held by the Vietnamese students’ Association.
 
It was the sixth get-together in Hanoi. The first was held in 2006 with the funding of Hanshin.
 
Unlike previous years, next to the former students, the meeting involved 30 students from the department of Korean belong to the University of Foreign Languages.
 
The meeting is a chance for the former students to share memories with each other and exchange issues in the life, give the advice to the active Vietnam students in Korea and promote the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Korea.
 
Speaking at the meeting, Hanshin President, Mr Choi-Yong sun hailed achievements the Vietnamese students gained in the study as well as the development of the Vietnamese students’ Association in the RoK. Hanshin launched the event to play a bridge for enhancing friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries’ people.
 
Mr Choi assured Hanshin will continue support for the Association’s social and humanitarian activities in the future.
 
Along with the meeting of the former students, Hanshin also supported the annual meeting of Vietnam workers in Korea on the Vietnam Independence Day on Sept. 2nd.
 
Besides, Hanshin also raise the fund for The Association monthly quarterly, helps maintain the site http://www.vsak.vn as a bridge linking Vietnam students who are studying in RoK./.
