Green Live Day will take place this Sunday and is expected to draw around 5,000 young people to get involved in environmental protection activities in HCM City.
They will experience environmentally friendly life in a green areas including a green space, a school, a house and a playground.
The event will be held by Go Green Club under the Go Green programme jointly organised by Toyota Vietnam, the National Environment Agency, and the Ministry of Education and Training.
This will also be a chance for enterprises to display their environmentally friendly products. The day will be highlighted with a community action for needy people, according to the organiser. Secondhand clothes will be renewed with environmentally friendly technology and offered to disadvantaged children.
The day intends to raise public awareness about protecting the Vietnamese environment and to help young people develop an overall view about environmental pollution and prompt behavioural change to make a greener country./.
