Truong Tan Sang, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, has urged the Ha Giang administration to focus on young generation in its personnel plan.

Sang held a working session with provincial leaders on the second day of his two-day visit to the northern mountainous province on November 21, telling them to care for human resource development, focus on young generation and send more officials to grassroots administrations.

He called on the local administration and ethnic groups to “work harder, more creative and more effective” in economic development.

“Ha Giang should gear its crops structure to the commercial scale, increase crop productivities and improve farm produce quality,” the senior Party official urged.

He said the province should make greater efforts to attract investments and efficiently manage investment, especially socio-economic infrastructure projects.

On November 20, Sang attended the inauguration ceremony of the Na Lan bridge in Xin Man district. He also paid a visit and presented gifts for teachers and students at the boarding school for ethnic children in Hoang Su Phi district on the Vietnam Teachers’ Day./.
