Themed “Ha Long – Heritage, Wonder – Friendly Destination”, the National Tourism Year 2018 – Ha Long – Quang Ninh will include 100 events until January 2019.
The northern mountainous province of Lao Cai welcomed the first group of foreign tourists on February 16, the first day of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2018.
The Yen Tu Spring Festival will open on February 25 (the 10th day of the Lunar New Year), in Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province, kicking off the National Tourism Year hosted by the locality.
Ngoa Van Spring Festival, which opened at the Tran Dynasty Special Relic Site in Dong Trieu town, the northern province of Quang Ninh on February 24, became the first event of the locality in response to the “National Tourism Year 2018- Ha Long- Quang Ninh”.

The People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province’s Uong Bi city on March 15 announced to change the time for the 2018 Cherry blossom – Yen Tu yellow ochna flower festival.
